Monterey's has great food!
DESCRIPTION: Monterey's has great food. I do have a preference for the fajita meat items. The margaritas are very good too. The wait staff is courteous and friendly, the service is fast and the prices are affordable. If you are looking for great meal make sure you try Monterey's.

Best Mexican (all you can eat) in Tulsa
DESCRIPTION: I would like to say, out of all the Mexican restaurants in Tulsa, Casa Bonita is the best place to eat Mexican food. The food is great to feed a starving army of family at a very good price. They offer a variety of dishes, but the All-you-can-eat beef platter is the best! The setting is in a Mexican Town, you have multiple options to sit and eat, you can sit by a waterfall, in a nice secluded cave setting with candles to add to the effect of a romantic dinner, a private room, or in the "main" room, where you can watch everything and everyone. If you have any children, you can let them loose. There are a few things that they can do, there's an arcade room, and a little theater.

Only GRINGOS eat at Casa Bonita
DESCRIPTION: Casa Bonita isn't Mexican food. It's mass produced, cafeteria food, made by non-Hispanics who don't know what good Mexican food is. I was forced to eat there with an office group, and I'll never go back. Tulsa has enjoyed a recent migration of Hispanics from Texas, and there are hundreds of REAL Mexican food restaurants in Tulsa. Why eat mass produced food when you can eat REAL Mexican food? The only good thing I can say about Casa Bonita is the decor. I have to admit, it IS pretty cool looking inside -- but you have to ask yourself why you have to be distracted from the food to enjoy the experience...

Casa Bonita is a fun place to go
DESCRIPTION: I love taking my kids there. The atmosphere is fantastic with caves and waterfalls and a game room for the kids. The food is better than any fast food mexican but not quite as good as other mexican restaurants. However, the free sopapillas are the best. There guacamole is fresh and better than most places I have been to.

I adore Casa Bonita
DESCRIPTION: I grew up near Tulsa and had my third birthday party (in 1974) at Casa Bonita. Throughout my childhood, it was the ultimate treat to go there. I'm just glad to see that such a weird and wonderful place is still around and thriving. A couple of years ago I went back to Tulsa (I now live in NYC) just to visit this hazy memory of a restaurant, and it was still just as bizarre as I remembered. True, I've had better Mexican food, but it's certainly not bad. And the sopapillas are downright yummy.

DESCRIPTION: I agree with the poster above. You are paying for mass produced food in a neat setting.Thats all. The prices are outrageous for the quality of food served. I have been there,not by choice, with relatives who wanted to "Experience" it. It was never a good experience.

ITS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN!
DESCRIPTION: Yes the food isn't fancy, but its far better than the fast food chains and it isn't expensive. There are lots of great things for children to do, but you'll find that many adults end up in the arcade too. My husband and I try to go a few times a year. It holds a lot of fun memories from when we were dating.

DESCRIPTION: My now husband went to Casa Bonita on a few occassions. The inside is AWESOME. We got married and had a baby, she loved the arcade and everything else inside. My favorite place is by the water fall. We have sinced moved from Tulsa (3 yrs ago) and did not think of it untill The South Park episode this last week. Oh my god what memories we had. At first we were like Casa Bonita, naw couldn't be then it was like "Oh my", it is Casa Bonita. Then we found out it wasn't the Tulsa Casa Bonita, it was in Denver. Wow. Ok the food was edible (personally I miss the Taco Bueno's), but just to feel like you were in a Mexican Disneyland was the bomb. It was great fun, and isn't that what eating is all about?

DESCRIPTION: Assembly line food and not what you would call "real" Mexican, but the atmosphere is interesting to say the least. It's a good place to take the kids and let them roam. Don't go there if you're expecting a romantic getaway. The place is kind of cheesy, but in an amusing way. Don't go there for the food or you'll be dissapointed if you are a true Mexican food lover.

I LOVE CASA BONITA!!! IT IS A GREAT MEMORY FOR ALL TULSANS!
DESCRIPTION: I remember being in the 5th grade at Park Elementary School when our principal would set up a trip for all of the Principal's Honor Roll students to ride a limo to Casa Bonita. We loved it! The food was excellent and the atmosphere was the coolest! My favorite room to eat in was the cave, hands down!
