Falling Ratings in My Book
DESCRIPTION: I have been arranging dinners parties with friends for years. We have met at the Adobe once or twice every 6 months for the last ten years. Last Friday night will be my last attempt there. In the past 8 months I have tried numerous times to allow the Adobe to be my favorite place again and I consistently leave disappointed. The food is still fantastic but the service is awful. We were told to go to the back bar and they would find us when a table for six opened. We sat and watched people just seating themselves. After 1.5 hours I went up front and asked why. I was told I needed to "hawk" a table and just grab it when it opened. Once we did grab a table, no one on the wait staff would give us eye contact to even order a drink. I went to the bar to get menus and drinks and about 45 minutes later the bar tender came over to take our order. This is about the 6th or 7th time I have tried to enjoy the Cafe in the last 8 months and I will not try again.

Excellent Mexican Food
DESCRIPTION: Service was friendly, atmosphere pleasant and food delicious! It's crowded but it was fine with our children.

Tex Mex- The food is great but is is worth just comming for the chips and Salsa
DESCRIPTION: The menu is always creative and even for a difficult to please person such as myself there are always great choices. From you basic Fajitas to the sweat and Sweaty wings. Be careful if you ask for the hot salsa, the salsa has a unique and wonderful taste but be prepared with plenty of liquid to put out the fire.

A regular stop for us
DESCRIPTION: My kids love to go to Tex Mex. It is a great place for families because Mom and Dad can have a nice meal and the kids are happy too. The bar is downstairs and the dining room upstairs which is nice when you are dining as a family. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. It costs the same to go to our local pizza shop. We went once on mothers day and they gave each mother a terra cotta pot with some fresh herbs growing - I thought it was a nice touch!

Great and inexpensive
DESCRIPTION: We eat here a couple of times a year and it is a great family place. Kids are welcome and enjoy the atmosphere. Food is great and inexpensive. Service is quick and friendly. The bar is downstairs and dining room upstairs which I also think is nice when you are dining with kids. We were there on Mothers Day last year and they gave each Mom an herb in a terra cotta pot - I thought it was nice.
