The Best Southern Food- Anywhere
DESCRIPTION: I don't make it that far north too often, but every time I do, I try to stop in at this place. Everything from creamed corn to smoked ham to yams to fried chicken, homemade corn bread, buttermilk biscuits, apple butter & different jams... Good iced tea. Stop by here if you can, it's well worth the trip.

DESCRIPTION: The BEST food in this beautiful northeast Georgia County. Owner Steve Mazarky is a friendly, gracious host who serves outstanding fare. Absolutely five stars!!!

Disappointing trip ...
DESCRIPTION: Sorry to say our last visit wasn't up to par. We've made special trips there for many years ... but were disappointed recently. The price has risen, but quantity and quality of food seemed less. (They even charged us extra for water!) Only 2 meats (no ham) and overall, everything seemed to have declined from previous visits. Hope it was just a bad day for them!

Skip The Dilard House

Disappointing trip overall
DESCRIPTION: The food was slightly average. They only gave us one white piece of chicken and charged our family $100. The owner complained when we requested more white meat. Also, they charge $1.00 for water. The restaurant is below average and not up to par in newness.

Thank God for Farm House Restaurant
DESCRIPTION: After my vehicle breaking down on the interstate, I had to wait for some help at this restaurant. My help was three hours away. The owner and staff made sure we were taken care of the five hours I sat there. The staff and the food were both above and beyond what I look for in a restaurant. Many thanks to all of them, and keep making that delicious peach cobbler!

Worst Experience I ever Had
DESCRIPTION: Had to wait to be seated. Staff's clothes were dirty as if never been washed. Tables, floors, and lighting fixtures were also dirty. Paper found in hushpuppies and cole slaw was brown in color. Never made it to main meal. Could not get a manager to come and talk to us, our waitress said that she was busy on the phone with her boyfriend and would not listen to them. Restrooms were very dirty and had sour odor to it. Husband noticed urine stains on the floor. Floor area to the restroom that went into the restrooms/kitchen area on other side were wet and had smushed food on it. Disgusted with whole experience and will let everyone know never to go there. Do they ever get a health inspection?

Give it a shot
DESCRIPTION: I've been twice so far to this restaurant. I didn't know what to expect the first visit, being from the North. We don't have places like this back home. The food was really great. I tried something different each time and was impressed. Their Hush Puppies are to die for. The atmoshphere was somewhat expected. There wasn't anything shocking or out of the ordinary there but it was nice anyway. The waitress was helpful each visit and I will be going back.

DESCRIPTION: We ate at their Nashville location. The catfish was so good, it makes you want to jump up and smack your mamma! I only wish they would play more Metallica instead of Country/Western music. Two thumbs up!

Missing Uncle Bud
DESCRIPTION: Why did the restaurant close? I invited all my friends to go. We really enjoyed eating there. The food was great. My family loved to eat there just for the nice quant environment.
