Fabulously fresh and delicious!
DESCRIPTION: The soups and salads here are absolutely the best! There are about ten salads to choose from, and about that many soups too, and about 4 different sandwiches. Some are Asian style, some Italian, some Mexican, so there will be something you will like. And everything is so very fresh and flavorful, which is what keeps me coming back. The sandwiches are okay, but they probably won't "wow!" you, like the soups and salads will. Also, every meal includes one chocolate covered strawberry for dessert. The food is served on real (ceramic) dishes, though the spoons and forks are plastic and the cups are paper. You get your own drink from the soda fountain and you carry your tray to the table of your choosing. But there are employees that come around to ask if you need anything and they bus your table for you. It's basically fast food, but it's a little bit nicer. They have a wide assortment of drinks available, and many choices that are sugar free (crystal lights, diet coke, caffiene free diet coke, fresca, and maybe a few others I'm forgetting.) Everything is very clean and new and the decor is very simple but that works with the casual environment there. Be prepared to wait in line for 10 or 15 minutes if you come during the lunch rush. They keep the line moving though, and anyways, if it's your first time, you might need a while to decide which of many tantalizing choices on the menu you'll prefer.

GREATEST ICE CREAM IN UTAH!
DESCRIPTION: We found this fantastic ice cream parlor by accident while passing through Cedar City. They make all of their own ice cream and it is without a doubt the best 30 different flavors of ice cream around. GranDee's is a first class business with great service, friendly atmosphere and a juke box playing the music of the 50's. We make this stop each time we pass through and find it more enjoyable each time. Great soup and sandwiches also!

Cash only but a Great Salad/Soup/Potato Bar
DESCRIPTION: They accept cash only so if I am cashless, I don't go there. The salad bar has spinach, lettuce, mushrooms, squash, cucumber, zuccini, olives, baby corn, pastas, toppings, etc. - a lot of choice. Soups are a choice of 5 soups that change daily. There is always at least one vegetarian. Choice of Sweet or white baked potato with a variety of toppings. Desserts are fruits, puddings and great breads. Sandwiches are also available though I have never been able to turn down the bars to ever order one.

DESCRIPTION: A hole in the wall. You better ask for directions, but the food is yummy. Gramma is serving, so be patient--it's worth it.

DESCRIPTION: Best deli in town. Local shop, local attitude. Very busy lunch hour, not so busy if you have a late lunch or supper. Too little seating. Enjoy the window seats.

Trackside grill gets better with time
DESCRIPTION: The first time we ate here we were not impressed. But recently the fare and the atmosphere has improved. We would take out of town guests here. It is good for lunch and dinner. The only flaw in the atmosphere is the loud trains coming by - thus "Trackside".

DESCRIPTION: The prices are high, the food servings are small, the quality of food is average. The service was appalling. I tried a roast beef sandwich and a bowl of cheese soup.

tasts awesome
DESCRIPTION: I think pickermans tasts awesome the bread is way softer than subway.. the people are nice too, if you ask for an extra pickle they don't even charge you
