Awesome food and service
DESCRIPTION: The meals are all excellent - large portions, home cooking and great service. The pies and cobblers are the perfect toppers to a great meal if you can find room for them.

Waitstaff & food
DESCRIPTION: We had dinner at "Charlie Clark's" the night of December 26th. We had prime rib 3 of us and one had Walleye. The food was out of this man's vocabulary good. The only thing better was our waitress "Vicky" I believe was her name. She was very efficient and a continuous smile on her face that made our meal that much nicer. She was just a great waitress and a great person.

Took my dad there for his birthday in 2001
DESCRIPTION: I was visiting my Dad in Arizona (as I now live out east) and it was his 70th birthday. It was just father and daughter and I wanted so much for his birthday dinner to be nice and it was everything I could hope for. Everything and I mean "everything" was superb - the atmosphere, the food and the service. My dad is going to the White Mountains in the next week and will be going to Charlie Clark's for his birthday dinner (now his 72nd) and I wish I could be there with him to commemorate his special day but alas I'll have to live vicariously through him and his good friend who'll be going there. I sure miss Arizona and have lots of fond memories of all the camping and fishing trips my dad took me on in the White Mountains and this restaurant was and has been a big part of our past over many, many years. Glad to know that at least some things never change. Take good care of my Dad when he comes in on September 6.

Great folks and great cuisine
DESCRIPTION: This is "thee" place to eat in this town. This is also where the locals eat. This is more than hearty food. Eric, part owner and chef, presents excellent quality food with must try specials. The food here is much better than what you may get in the park. Including the Bright Angel Lodge.
