Great Place
DESCRIPTION: Not sure why it is described as romantic...but the food is fantastic - fresh, flavorful, and well served - and also a great value. Also has a beer/wine license as well as great coffee. Parking is tough, but totally worth the frustration of finding a parking spot.

Best Breakfast in Town
DESCRIPTION: I am a worker at the Neighborhood Restaurant and I am also a Borges. The restaurant is a very friendly place where you can bring family and friends. The food is delicious and the service is pretty good. On the weekend the service may be slow but it is only because it is very busy and there is a lot of work to do so just be patient with us. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends because has great food, great workers who work hard to please their customers,and great service. So come on down and grab a bite to eat, I recommend you try the cream of wheat if you haven't already; it is great! Fabulous Breakfasts
DESCRIPTION: If you're willing to put up with a bit of a line on most Sunday mornings, then this is the place to go. Their service is generally fast, their food is excellent. The Neighborhood Restaurant gives great value for your money - when you order breakfast you also get coffee, orange juice, a choice of fruit or cream of wheat (the best cream of wheat I've ever tasted, by far), and a plate of toast/muffins/pastries. The selection is vast, and everything I've had so far has been yummy!

Great Weekend Breakfast/Brunch
DESCRIPTION: We moved into the "neighborhood" of the Neighborhood just over a year ago. We had this place recommended to us so many times that we had to check it out. By the end of last summer, we eagerly looked forward to weekend mornings to head over a get breakfast. For a very inexpensive price, each meal is nearly more than you could eat! They really thought of everything, and the ambiance is so much fun, it really made us feel welcome as new residents. We highly recommend it.

DESCRIPTION: Don't waste your time here. There are so many excellent Italian restaurants in the area. The food is decent, but not exactly awe-inspiring. The service is truly pathetic - non-responsive and uncaring. The ambiance is boring. You can do so much better than this.

Delightful Addition to South Shore Dining
DESCRIPTION: Sintra is a wonderful addition for fine dining. It offers a diverse menu (red meat, poultry, fish, seafood and a vegetarian offering) creative selections, a good wine and beer selection, and attentive staff. Pleasant decor and music. The entrance is behind the restaurant in the parking lot.

Downtown Dining Moves to the South Shore
DESCRIPTION: Sintra is an amazing dining experience. The food rivals that of the top restaurants downtown without the outrageous prices and hassle of finding a parking spot. The wait staff is knowledgeable, personable, and attentive without being overbearing. The open kitchen and small dining room creates the restaurant s warm and inviting ambiance. Each of Chef Jenkins dishes brings out the flavor and essence of every ingredient used; no dish was too heavy or overwhelming. Without a doubt, I will be returning to Sintra.

Making This Place My Own
DESCRIPTION: The food was fabu! Portions are perfect. I love how the owners and staff remember the repeat customers. Being from Braintree - I will make this place my own little restaurant. The only negative comment is that there is no bar area to wait in. They should make the upstairs a bar area.

There's No Comparison

Rude Mannered Waitress
DESCRIPTION: At the beginning she didn t bring the drink I ordered (before dinner) and took 30 minutes to take the order. She brought the check before asking me with rude manners if I wanted dessert, didn t apologize. She spent most of the time in a big conversation with the waiter and didn t look to the table. Very good food but I m sorry, I m not going back until they get rid of that waitress.

Tremendous Experience
DESCRIPTION: I surprised my fiancee, who is Portuguese, by bringing her to Sintra for a special dinner. And what a great experience we had! I can't remember a dinner when every course was so good and consistent. The service and atmosphere rivals the Boston restaurants, while its location and easy parking clearly makes Sintra a winner.

Perfection
DESCRIPTION: It is always a treat when we have dinner at Sintra. We had dinner there this past Saturday evening and we were just in time for the menu changes for the fall months. Our starters and entrees were fantastic. There was no way we were passing the desserts, so ofcourse we indulged. I also have to say that the Sangria they have is the best I have ever tasted. A true jewel of the South Shore, if only they would open one in the Worcester area, I would be in heaven.

A Welcome Fine Dining Find
DESCRIPTION: A resaurant of this caliber in the quiet suburban town of Braintree was an exciting find for my wife and me. Sintra has all the taste and style of any chef-centric restaurant in Boston, without the expense and pretense. I found it by Googling the ChefMoz and Chowhound reviews, and then checked out their menu at www.sintrarestaurant.com. Around these parts I expect to find chain, old school Italian, and seafood restaurants. Nothing subtle or adventurous. So their menu made Sintra a must-try. I brought my wife for her birthday, and our meal was all we had hoped it would be. The crispy skin on my rustic glazed duck was pure meat-candy, and my wife's sweet potato ravioli app. was light, yet complex and wonderfully balanced. We can't wait to return.

Intimate and Tasty
DESCRIPTION: Atasca has a reputation as the best Portuguese in greater Boston, and the food certainly shown on a recent visit. A seafood stew held generous helpings of delicately flavored clams and mussels. An appetizer (or you could go for the appetizers as Tapas) of fresh Portuguese cheese and tomatoes was seasonal, and tasted like Mozzarella with a twist. My chicken cutlets were similar to an Italian chicken marsala, nice but unremarkable, but it came with a great risotto. Service, however, was quite slow given that it was a half-empty Sunday night.
