Unimpressed
DESCRIPTION: Three of us went there on a Saturday night, and while there was certainly nothing wrong with our food, we were all expecting something a little bit better from this price class. I had the grilled seafood platter; I forget what the sauce was supposed to be, but it was a creamy orange goo, somewhat tangy, that didn't really enhance the seafood that much. The mahi-mahi and scallops were nice, the prawns and salmon were ordinary. The sauteed spinach in the middle was an odd counterpoint. My dinner companions commented that the menu was a lot smaller than the one they'd been to in San Francisco. Everyone liked my Mai Tai, though ;-)

That business dinner...
DESCRIPTION: This seems to be a 'business lunch/dinner' destination. And if you're looking for a romantic spot, hearing the loud VP of Sales at the next table discussing 'the big contract' can detract from an otherwise pleasant dining experience. Interesting entrees, fabulous view and service, but the noisy clientle soured the event for me.

DESCRIPTION: It's about time that Vallejo got a new, distinctive restaurant! The food was excellent, especially the special, Island style BBQ ribs. They were tender, extremely flavorful and slid right off of the bone! They also have your regular faves like burgers and salads including the Beef, Mango, Avocado Salad with a homemade Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing. This exquisite bistro has all of the ambience that a cool restaurant in San Francisco would have, complete with beautiful artwork and photographs that pay homage to Vallejo's rich history! The service was also friendly. The owner even came out and introduced himself. This grill is highly recommended if you want value, service, ambiance and most importantly, delicious food!

You HAVE to eat here!
DESCRIPTION: Georgia Street Grill is exactly what downtown Vallejo needs in order to start rebuilding. The FOOD is excellent, the employees are friendly and efficient, the atmosphere is cozy, comfortable, and interesting. I have been COMPLETELY satisfied with all the dishes I've tried.
