DESCRIPTION: you would probably drive right past it without giving it a second thought. but don't. this place is small, friendly, great service, caring staff, excellent food. specializes in eastern european cooking but don't let that put you off if you're not a fan - it's good wholesome food and plenty of it.

Stay Away, For the love of God, Stay Away
DESCRIPTION: Why do I say this? Because this little hole in the wall restaurant serves some of the best food in this part of Florida and if I tell you how good it is, it will become crowded and I will have a hard time getting in. So please, just drive on by and head to one of those cheezy Darden chains down the road. I'll be at the Bellwood.

DESCRIPTION: Polish food just like matka made i havent had bigos in quite a while and when i tasted theirs i thought i was in my mothers kitchen, try the polish sampler you cant go wrong just like moms polish cooking

DESCRIPTION: If you haven't heard of this place, then you should and you should eat there! Why are so many people wrapped up in the chain restaurants? This place is small, but don't let that fool you. My first time there was with some friends and my husband. The food was absolutely wonderful! And the owner is so friendly and really makes you feel at home. Don't pass this place up!

Great food and beer
DESCRIPTION: This restaurant had a huge selection of beers. The food was top notch, the freshest I have had in a long time at German restaurant. The service was excellent it felt like I was a guest in their house. This is a place I would definitely go again.

Excellent Food
DESCRIPTION: I was very impressed by this restaurant, great atmosphere; extensive beer list as well as wines. Excellent stuffed cabbage. We never made it to dessert ... too full. Next trip will be a dessert only trip, so we're sure to make it :)

POLISH FOOD
DESCRIPTION: If you are truly Polish, this is the place to eat! I haven't had Polish food since I moved to Tennessee 7 yrs. ago and I definitely miss it. Not as much anymore thanks to Homelands! Now if I could just get some home made KIELBASA, life wouldn't be better!

Wonderful Polish cooking
DESCRIPTION: The name gives nothing away. However Julian's offers a wide array of Polish dishes. There is no ambiance and the heating and air conditioning are terrible. But if you go when the weather is appropriate you will be treated to amazing food at low prices. On weekdays they have a phenominal buffet lunch for $6.95. Nothing fancy, but everything is good. There are usually two soups which are full of flavor. Starches are represented by some sort of potatoes, sometimes barley, and usually some dumplings. Various meat and chicken dishes are always there, each one with its own distinctive taste. Dessert is usually some sort of cake. They look like something you might expect to find on an airplane menu, and taste better than most of the six and seven dollar cakes you get in more upscale restaurants. For fine Polish food you can't do better than Julian's.
