Great pizza
DESCRIPTION: Pat's pizza has a very nice selection of specialty pizzas beyond the traditional fare that most pizza shops have. Pat's is definately the best in the area, and better than most shops I've eaten at around the country. I'd have to put it in the top ten anyway. Pat's also carries traditional pasta menu items as well, although I didn't try any of them (yet.)

DESCRIPTION: No delivery service. Pat's has some of the best pizza in the area. Not only do they have "specialty" pizzas, but they are innovative. My personal favorites are the margarita pizza and the royale. The pizza's are not overly bready, and the crust has good flavor (not just the simple "bread" dough.) The tommato sauce actually has flavor (unlike the chain restaurants...)

good pizza bad service
DESCRIPTION: We went there twice and both times waited an inordinant amount of time to get waited on when it wasnt busy. but the pizza was good,, (Davincis is better), nice selection of toppings, the best in the area I think for that. We actually went there a third (and final time) for lunch and walked out. We were the only ones there and were totally ignored by the waitress for more than ten minutes while she trained a new girl on the cash register

Seafarers Tavern is now Mariners
DESCRIPTION: Seafarers Tavern is now Mariners. The new owners serve the best chicken wings and onion rings in the area. Also wonderful salads.

Best pizza around!
DESCRIPTION: Have been a "regular" at Al's pizza on state street for a few years . . .their pizza is the best in the area! Doughy crust, good sauce and unusual topping combinations on their gourmet pizzas(can you say lobster pizza in their "Taking Care of Business"? or alligator in their "Seminole" pizza). Courteous service. The actual restaurant is small (a few tables). A little on the pricier side for pizza (~$16 for large gourmet), but well worth it! They also serve cold sandwiches, hot sandwiches, hot oven grinders, dagwoods, and roll-ups.

Best Pizza In the Greater Augusta Area
DESCRIPTION: Al's Pizza has won the 'Best of the Best' award for the greater Augusta area eight year and running! The service is great, the food is excellent,and the staff treats you like family.

DESCRIPTION: I've stopped at Uno's, in the Bangor Mall, twice now. The first time, my wife and I were there with friends. The wait was a little longer than I'd have liked, the food wasn't as good as I'd hoped, and the cost was more than I would have expected. But it wasn't terrible. Yesterday, since I was at the mall anyhow, I decided to try it again. Alone this time, I found no one at the reception desk, nor was there a sign asking me to wait to be seated. Although I had thought that we were seated by an employee the last time I was there, there weren't very many customers, so I thought that perhaps we were expected to find our own seats. Several employees walked by me while I was waiting, but no one offered to help. I selected a table in the center of the room, within sight of the door and the reception area, hoping to attract someone's attention. Unfortunately, that wasn't going to happen. Employees kept walking by, seemingly with blinders. Finally, I gave up and went to Applebee's, where the service and the food was terrific.
