DESCRIPTION: I have never been to a restaurant where the employees were treated so poorly by the owners. Food is good, but a little salty from the staff's tears!

Great Fresh Pizzas and Other Tasty Entrees
DESCRIPTION: I've never experienced what the previous critic wrote, and I've been to the restaurant nearly a dozen times. The staff seems very happy and doesn't seem to turn over much. Starts to feel like a nice cozy home away from home after a while when the same faces greet you each time. The pizza is tasty, with the freshest herbs and tomatoes and a wonderful crust. The entrees are good too, but I always find myself drawn back to the incredible pizzas. Nice atmosphere too - a warm and mellow place to take friends.

Good food but disorganized seating
DESCRIPTION: Reasonably good food but there was no host or hostess to seat guests. The owner (older man who seemed to be in charge) was only concerned about telling those waiting for tables to not block the doorway. Apparently regulars just walk in and take any open table and jump ahead of others waiting to be seated.

Pretty darn good
DESCRIPTION: Really really cheap pizza for the thrifty person. Big extra larges for under 8 bucks. Not too greasy, decent crust and strong sauce. They are generous with the toppings. Take out only, so no atmosphere... buts it's pretty clean.

DESCRIPTION: Their pizza is baked just right with the proper blend of cheese, sauce, and dough. The service is great, the owner is friendly and they handle problems quickly and effectively.

DESCRIPTION: In a city where the pizza stinks, Today's Pizza is a breath of fresh air. The staff is very nice and the food is great. There is no place to sit and eat, but you can see into the kitchen and it is very clean looking.

Best Pizza on the Hill
DESCRIPTION: Al's uses good ingredients and makes great pizzas. Some of the best are their specialty pizzas, such as the Leonardo or the Raphael. Their chicken wings are surprisingly good too. The lasagna, sadly, is average and the "pasta pie" is sort of amorphous Italian ingredients baked in a tin. No one on the Hill should get pizzas delivered from any place other than Al's.
