DESCRIPTION: Don't let the strip mall atmosphere of its surroundings put you off from trying this place. The food is fabulous and the portions are HUGE! They specialize in Latin American dishes and great desserts. The service is friendly and they even have take out!

Good Salsa
DESCRIPTION: Big portions, indifferent service, but the salsa is great (homemade and chunky). If you fax a lunch order, be sure to call to confirm.

Best Chicken in Town
DESCRIPTION: I have been to a lot of peruvian chicken places, this is by far one of my top two. The flavor of this chicken is superb. The yuca is fantastic. Alway's hot from the fryer and crispy as can be. One of dishes I highly recommed is the Chop Chop. The seasoning on the chicken mixture they put on this dish is out of this world. The only complaint I have of this place is the size of the restaurant. It is somewhat small with only a few tables. If you don't get there early on a weekday (before 12) you're not likely to get a table. I would then recommend carry-out.

Chicken is as advertised!
DESCRIPTION: This is basically fast food, in terms of service and ambience, but the chicken is delicious: crisp and juicy as advertised, and served with delicious mayo-based spicy Peruvian sauce. Fried yucca is a nice accompaniment.

The Best Inexpensive meal
DESCRIPTION: We buy takeout from Crisp and Juicy frequently. The chicken is as advertized and the sauce that comes with it is what really makes it amazing. I've had other things there and it's all above average. The prices are very good, the service is fast. You won't be sorry. but don't be fooled into thinking all peruvian takeout places are the same--as in, how hard could it be?--big mistake.

despite ambiance, very good
DESCRIPTION: Didn't look like much when we walked in and looked at the menu. However we were very surprised when the food actually came out. The menu descriptions do not do justice to the dishes. They seemed like plain ingredients from the menu, but the the details are what make this food great. The soup I got was described as "egg soup with noodles". I expected an asian style egg drop soup with noodles, but what came was a delicately spiced milk-based broth with eggs and noodles and garnished well. My wife's salad was a rich leafy green salad with fresh vegetables that tasted in season and served with a great house-made vinegarette. The half chicken was encrusted in a great blend of spices and cooked perfectly. the fried yucca was ordinary, but the mustard-mayo blend to dip it in was outstanding. Overall, our dinner exceeded our expectations and reinforced the old addage, "Don't judge a book by its cover"
