Great Food in a Mom and Pop Atmosphere
DESCRIPTION: Casablanca is a small place at the corner of Missouri and El Paseo. Don't be fooled by the appearance: the place is nice inside, clean, and the owners make an attempt to present a nice environment. Nothing fancy. The woman waiting on tables --about ten of them-- was quiet, reserved, and pleasant. She was not the greatest waitress in the world and I was never offered a refill on my water, but her pleasant demeanor went a long way. The number of Mediterranean dishes are a little limited as you might expect in such a small place, but the portions are large and the food is delicious. Very well prepared. I had the lamb kabobs and a Greek salad; it was wonderful. The rice was delicious and the lamb great! Juicy, seasoned and cooked just right. Prices are a little up there, but well worth the money. Wonderful food.

Nice place...disappointing food
DESCRIPTION: International Delights Cafe is a nice place to eat... indoors or out. Order at the up-front counter and they bring the food to your table. No waitress, no tipping. Especially enjoyed the outdoor patio with fountain. Prices are good also. The problem is the food; I had their gyro and it was mediocre at best. It wasn't horrible, but it was the worst gyro I have ever eaten. Here's why: The pita bread was under cooked and doughy. Not at all tasty. The sauce had no dill or Greek seasoning in it-- it was so bland it was incredible. The gyro also had no onion in it. The only thing good about it was the meat, which was flavored nicely. The restaurant needs to sample some of the real Greek cooking around the country to find out how its done! I really liked the place, but I don't know if I'll return based on the food I tried.
