Great Mediterranean Food in Sunnyvale
DESCRIPTION: The restaurant is "Egyptian" but the food is similar to Greek or other Mediterranean food. There are great "kebabs" and wraps, and unique mixes of spices. The rice is even great! They have their own recipes using fresh ingredients, rather than prepared sauces and flavorings. Service is warm, friendly, and helpful. The waiter goes out of his way to tell you about the food and make suggestions.

DESCRIPTION: Splendido's is indeed! On a recent trip to San Francisco, I stumbled across this restaurant. While the view may have been better, the food and surroundings made up for it. They refere to themselves as "contemporary Italian" serving traditional Italian dishes which seemed to melt in my mouth, did not melt my wallet and were very enjoyable. I enjoyed this restaurant so much, I went back a couple of nights later. I had the Ravioli di Magro, a spinach-stuffed ravioli that was served with ricotta cheese and sage. My dinner companion had the lasagne which not served in the traditional square pattern, but a beautiful round, layered treat. Desserts were as good as the entrees. DESCRIPTION: The food was out of this world - excellent! Pricy - yes, but not unreasonable. Servings were both artistically presented and generous (a rare combination). Highly recommend!!

Amazing food, amazing staff
DESCRIPTION: Cafe Gibraltar is the best. Every dish that comes out of the kitchen is flawlessly prepared and tastes unbelievably good. The staff is always attentive and fun. It is obvious that the husband/wife team for this restaurant works to bring the diner the most delectable food up and down the coast in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
