DESCRIPTION: The food is very good, but having frequented the restaurant for the past few years on occasion, the prices are becoming quite high. I paid $5.50 for two glasses of iced tea. For lunch, with the tea, cost the two of us a total of $28 which is not a good price for the amount of food received. This time, no water was served and no little bowls of various cold dishes to try, i.e. Kimchee type foods. Very disappointing to see a previously great restaurant slide.

DESCRIPTION: Drink prices are a bit high, but otherwise, this place is fantastic. The weekend all-you-can eat is wonderful, not so much for gluttony, but in order to sample the different main and side dishes.

Good food is worth a little more..
DESCRIPTION: I think by now we may have stock in Sunny's! We have followed her amazing cuisine since she was in North Liberty once upon a time serving..*gasp* burgers and hand cut french fries. She introduced us to "her" food and we have been hooked ever since. We've seen the prices go up but for the quality, taste and knowlege that its all prepared fresh and to order, its worth it. Yes drinks may be high but in my opinion you can get a drink at any bar later. I'm there for the food! So I drink water or tea. Besides its better for ya! I love the feel and ambiance of the "neighborhood hide-away" or the "mom-n-pop operation". Its like going to a friends house. Sunnys food is unlike anything I've ever tried. The flavors are so rich and exciting, as well as the appearance. Just remember her food is prepared fresh so if you want it spicy or not just tell your server. It's not "fast" food, but its definately worth the wait! Have a go at Karaokee while your waiting.

Don't judge the Inside from the Outside
DESCRIPTION: Sunny's Korean Garden was a pleasant surprise. Though the outside appeared to be a dowdy old storefront. The interior was quaint and homey in an Asian sort of way. The wife and I tried the Bool Goo Kee and Peppered Pork. The pork had a bite to it but wasn't overbearing. Both were served with white rice only. Though a lettuce leaf was provided as a sort of "wrap" we enjoyed them both "as is". The killer of the meal was the "Fried Banana" dessert. Fried in an "egg roll" wrap, then covered with a tasty nut and cinnamon glaze made the banana's favor jump out a us. We're looking forward to trying more fare. We were pleasantly surprised by a personal greeting from Sunny herself. She proved to be a bright and entertaining host.

DESCRIPTION: Made reservations at seven. I was on time. I was warmly greeted. My hostess became my server then my bartender as I ordered a blue pacific rim martini, smooth and sweet. I wanted some spice I was in korea in 1998 I know it can be spicy, as I ordered their special, the king crab roll. She brought it out. She was knowledgeable told me everything I needed to know. It was spicy. I ordered the cucumber-mint salad to cool off my tastebuds. I waited to finish off my martini before ordering dessert. I like tea, I like cream so combining the two was a delight. Yes, I could go back again and again! I was very satisfied! Thank you!

DESCRIPTION: The food at Gaza Korean grill is amazing!! I went two nights in a row! The atmosphere is also great, since you can grill your own choice of steak, pork, or shrimp right there at your table. Definately a little different than your normal restaurants that bring your food out to you. A variety of different sauces are also served for you to dip your meat/seafood in it. Rice and salad is included. Great food for a reasonabLe price.

DESCRIPTION: This place is located in an isolated stripmall out 52W, but well worth the visit. Attentive,informed staff, cozy seats and unique food to the area done well. Good place for the casual dinner with time for chatting between grilling your own food.
