Oh My God That is a Good Burger.
DESCRIPTION: I discovered this little hole in the wall of a place back in January with my girlfriend. I normally don't eat a hamburger but their Bronx bomber burger is too good not to. With a side of really hot french fries it just can't be beat. I have also had the salad and a chicken dish and it was all good but don't pass up the burger.

DESCRIPTION: Excellent acoustic Irish music two weekends running. No cover but they pass the basket for the players. I didn't try the food, but the beer was definitely beer. I went for the music.

Good time, good food, real Irish.
DESCRIPTION: Nice little "real Irish" place. Not like the many pubs in North Jersey and the Bronx where the only Irish thing about it is the name over the door. Music is great, Joe McKenna especially. I'll be "bocht" :>) to see Joe play again. Also, there's an amazing collection of signs and posters that must have taken years to bring over from Ireland.

DESCRIPTION: I miss the place every day since I moved from the 'hood. A great place. Very importantly: no TV's. Best Guiness, music and conversation. Open late and a great place to stop in for a drink or with a date. Sit at the bar and get quickly engaged in great converstation with a varied crowd. A lost art. The service is generally short, but don't take it the wrong way. They'll quickly warm up to you after sizing you up.

A Good Place to Go
DESCRIPTION: Stop Inn Diner is a good place to go if you are hungry and want to get a meal that not only is good for your stomach, but also for your hearth. Demanding dishes are prepared more than very well at Stop Inn, in spite of its regular appearance. I have not been disappointed even once.

DESCRIPTION: The food was DELICIOUS! The service was awful. We ate there on 4-3-02. I had made a reservation. Our waitress was the bigger of the two blondes, and she gave terrible service. The busboy took our dessert order and refilled our drinks. If I had known that there would be smoking at the next table I never would have entered. What happened to the NO SMOKING rule? Or at least a smoke-free area? I honestly can't recommend the place to anyone even though the food was outstanding. Sorry, but glad I have the opportunity here to make you aware of this patron's view. Thanks.

DESCRIPTION: Great food and drafts, easy to get to. Nice atmosphere with very friendly staff. Terrific burgers and seafood. You'll get more chow at other Queens pubs but none better or served with more class. Well under $40 for two (dinner and a few pints each), so still a very good deal by NYC standards!!
