DESCRIPTION: You can at least comfort yourself at McGuire's. A rare combination of rather cheap local brews, superb steaks (Really! Superb, better than what you'll find in NYC), lovely fried oysters. Large, tasty burgers... Last time I happened to be in Pensacola for a week (don't ask why) I visited McGuire's about 10 times. So should you.

DESCRIPTION: I recently moved from Pensacola, FL to NC due to a transfer within the military. Before I left I got married and had my wedding party dinner at McGuires. It turned out to be one of the cherished days of my life. I had at least 50 guests and the service was spectacular! The setting was fun and inviting and our family and friends had a blast! My husband and I are big fans of the restaurant and used to eat there almost every other weekend. We love it and plan on continuing to enjoy it when we move back in three years.

DESCRIPTION: I've lived in several states in my life and had some good food. But I have to say that McGuires had the best steak I've ever put into my mouth. The service was excellent and it was a fun place. I highly recommend this place.

A must to visit
DESCRIPTION: My family and I were recently in Destin Florida vacationing, wanted to go to an Irish pub. Chose McGuire's not knowing the atmosphere we were about to experience. I miss Mcguires!!
DESCRIPTION: We moved to Virginia back in 96 from our home town of Pensacola Beach and I can tell you the one restaraunt I miss the most is Mcguires. The best atmosphere ever and tradition lives there. We come back every year to visit and never miss a dinner there. Best everything!!

McGuires Withdrawl
DESCRIPTION: My wife and I are from the Eastern shore of Mobile, but have to make time at least every three weeks to head to McGuires in P'Cola. And when the Highland clan arrives from Birmingham, well, McGuires is always a must! Food, service and drink are excellent and the atmosphere super!!! And did I mention we've been going there for over 20 years?!! Is there any other place to eat in Pensacola? Maybe so, but I doubt it! Now, to remember the Unicorn song...

Hollywood Doesn't Come Close!
DESCRIPTION: I grew up in Pensacola going to McGuire's - I had my bachelorette party there. Now I live in Los Angeles and have yet to find a steak or burger that can comes close to touching the greatness of a McGuire's cut! They have the best food, atmosphere and service in the nation - hands down!
