Best Palakh/Saag Paneer in COS!
DESCRIPTION: India Garden is open whenever we check - they are hardworking, clean, and almost never as crowded as they deserve to be! Their palakh/saag paneer will be prepared with the level of spice *you* specify (a problem with some of the other Indian restaurants locally), and is it soooo good - voted best in Colorado Springs last year. Their lunch buffet is plentiful and quite good, and their service is friendly and efficient. Fragrant jasmine rice comes with everything - not charged separately, and they are generous and hospitable in other ways, as well. For example - we were offered chai when I was waiting for takeout with my young son. An excellent addition to the Springs! Decor is just average for an Indian restaurant, but serviceable (i.e., tables covered with cloth, not formica).

Top-Notch!
DESCRIPTION: I had the opportunity to dine at Punjab this past Friday. It is the "parent restaurant" to my favorite Indian restaurant in Fort Myers, "India Palace". First of all, the description on this page simply says "Bar". I don't get that. It's a very nice restaurant. It has many tables along the walls which are behind curtains, a very nice touch. A fountain in the middle adds ambiance. It's dim w/ colored lights around the fountain. The staff is very friendly and the service was wonderful. They take reservations. The food was amazing. Only having been there once, I can only say so much. I had Chicken Korma, hot, and it was to die for. I love cream sauces, and this Korma (creamy curry sauce) was wonderful, w/ cashews and raisins. The garlic naan was amazing: very garlic-y and buttery. My dining partner had Chicken Biryani and claimed it was top-notch. The rice had a nice flavor, the vegetable samosa was tasty. The onion chutney was as spicy as it is at "India Palace" in Fort Myers (very spicy). Honestly it's one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to. I cannot wait to go back. Ft. Lauderdale is a 2-hour drive from here (Fort Myers) and we don't get there often, but it is one of the places I will make a point to visit again.

Ambar or Anand? Clifton Welcome's Indian Cuisine
DESCRIPTION: I must admit that only in Clifton could you find 2 great Indian restaurants within a block of each. I am proud to be the first to review Anand India in comparison to its competition only a block away. When I first visited Ambar restaurant 3 years ago, I was amazed at the quality of the food but it was not until I visited Anand that I also experienced a very clean environment with equally as delicious food. Two pea's in a pod, these restaurants offer similar dishes with similar prices and if you are lucky, you can find a $6 or $7 off coupon just by looking in CityBeat. You can't go wrong when you eat Indian cuisine in Cincinnati.

Best service and best food at this awesome Indian restaurant...
DESCRIPTION: Let me start by describing the warm welcome I receive whenever I go to Anand India Restaurant. I have been to other restaurants and had to wait for at least 5 mins to get a table but this place, although busy all the time, I am received by good looking guys everytime I go there. My favorite dish is chicken makhani and I like spicy foods. I was recommended to try this entree from chicken specialities by a waiter and he has waited on me at least 7 times and I was impressed by his service. Let me talk about the food. I haven't tried anything which is so tasty as the food I get here whenever I dine. The atmosphere and the interior is so romantic which adds to my pleasant experience in Anand India. I have referred this restaurant to all my friends and they have been dining here aleast once every week.

DESCRIPTION: Our favorite among the growing list of local Indian Restaurants. The service is extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive without being bothersome. Food excellent, service is slipping a little
DESCRIPTION: We go to House of India at least once a month, often more frequently. This year they changed owners and the dining room staff changed as well. I've been told that the chef is the same, and the food tastes as good as always, which is very good indeed. The service has had some slips the past few times I've been there. Once an appetizer was delivered with the main course (the point of the appetizer was that we knew the main course would take a while to cook). Once I had to go ask the manager for someone to take our order. Nothing huge, but not on par with the service I was accustomed to and receive from other Indian restaurants

Good Sunday Buffet
DESCRIPTION: Had brunch here last Sunday and it was great - lots of chutneys and yoghurts, great fresh bread, wonderful Kheer. The rice was perfect and the palak paneer and korma excellent also. Coupons available in mailers, that's what brought me here initially, and I'll be back!

Best Indian I have found
DESCRIPTION: We visit or do carry-out often at the House of India. I have tried all the Indian restaurants in Columbia, Catonsville and a few in D.C. It remains the best. The Naan bread and the rice are the best I have found. The chicken Tikka Masala is excellent and my wife loves the VegetableKkorma. My children, who are vegetarian, love the large selection of vegetarian dishes.

Always confident of a great meal.
DESCRIPTION: The food, ambiance, service and overall feel of this restaurant are all first rate, and then some. The food is under continuous improvement, which is surprising since it is already the best in town. If I were taking a friend out to lunch or dinner, this is the place I would go. My spouse took a course in Indian cooking and my son has become an aficionado of tea as a result of going there. House of India for lunch or dinner, Dobbin Donut and Deli for breakfast -- the town is complete except for a really good Mexican restaurant.

Unbelievable Food
DESCRIPTION: Listen kids: If you were to walk into someone's house and have real, authentic, Indian food, this is as good as it gets. Every time I go there, there's something new and inventive on the menu, the specials are continuously out of this world, and there's even different vegetables all the time on the vegetarian thali. Nobody does that, not even in New York.
