Real Elegance
DESCRIPTION: Hidden away in this small town in the mountains of North Carolina is a dining gem. The atmosphere is quiet, the service elegant, the food delicious. Hard to suggest preferred dishes as the menu changes daily. Not cheap, but well worth the money.

DESCRIPTION: The local scuttlebut includes, "Is Ginger cooking? When is Ginger cooking?" Dinner is not served every night at Smokey Shadows Lodge, but when it is, you want to be there. Served family style, and usually themed, Ginger's dinners are always delicious and the company is grand.

DESCRIPTION: I was at Smoky Shadows for my birthday and I must say everything was delicious! The entire meal was excellent. The most outstanding item was the tomato pie.

Outstanding
DESCRIPTION: A fun little place with lots of character, and the food is divine. My husband had a ribeye steak with raspberry habanero sauce it was by far one of the best dishes we've ever had. An incredibly enjoyable experience! Long live Chili Peppers!
