Disgusting and Terrible Quality
DESCRIPTION: I've been going every week to the Baggy Knee Cafe for the past 3 months. When I went today, I was shocked at the turn of events. The food price had gone drastically up, the food quality was extremely terrible (the cook did not even know that Alfredo sauce wasn't to be lumpy), and the waitress was rude.

Wow
DESCRIPTION: Have been going to this establishment on and off for over 17 years and have seen various ownership changes. But my most recent trip over the holiday season of 2002 was my favorite, it seems the new owners "get it". I had a dinner special of bone-in pork chop, with a side of home made macaroni and cheese that was to die for. Service was excellent, and thankfully the southwestern decor has given way to a tasteful bistro ambience.

The Baggy Knee is Shaking!
DESCRIPTION: It s nice to be greeted quickly especially with a smile. That is how my experience at the Baggy Knee began (yes, attitude still counts!). The attitude also carries into the kitchen. They offer a great antipasti dish that includes toasted bread with pesto spread. My main course of Salmon was also excellent, with nice presentation and was served in a delicious sauce all of this followed up with a surprise visit from the chef to ask if all was well. The service consisted of friendly and knowledgable staff. If you want great food with great attitude, I would highly recommend the Baggy Knee.

DESCRIPTION: I came up from North Carolina visiting my folks in North Huntingdon. I used to go to the Baggy Knee almost every weekend in the 80's when I was in college. It is still the same, GREAT! The beer selection is the best. The food was real good. I wish they would start a Baggy Knee in Winston-Salem, NC.

DESCRIPTION: They have done an awesome job with the menu and the service! Everything on the menu is great. They have a slightly different menu and the old classics and you cannot beat the Martini's, my favorite is the Apple Martini, the glass is rimmed in caramel, yum! They also have entertainment on certain nights of the week and they have gotten rid of the booths and opened up the area around the bar! They are also very accommidating for my club meetings that we have there.

take out
DESCRIPTION: The food here is very good, but the service for take out isn't great. When I'm there to dine at the restaurant, I'm treated very well, however, when ordering take out the girls are not so friendly and act like it's an inconvenience to take care of you.

Bugs?
DESCRIPTION: I have been the baggy knee recently and there seems to be a major problem with fruit flies and cleanliness. I literally had to keep my drink glass covered so nothing would land in it. The bathrooms are terribly disgusting and never have soap or toilet paper. I'm fairly sure I wont be bringing my family there again, unless something amazing happens and they clean the place up

really cool place
DESCRIPTION: You have to try the chix and artichokes, it is pretty delicious. I love the atmoshere here, but I have some trouble with waitresses. They seem to be bothered by customers- not good- we pay you!

Former Employee Review: Casual Elegance
DESCRIPTION: Not only am a regular customer at the Baggy Knee Bistro but I am also a past employee. I have worked at many establishments and by far the Baggy Knee was the best. I learned more about food preperation and presentation from Mike then I did at any of the places I had worked. Mike and Petra treated the other employees and I as family. I was a pleasure serving the food and drinks to the customers. I am now out of the restaurant industry having graduated college but I still love going back. The food is outstanding and so is the service.
