Healthy but Tasty
DESCRIPTION: I eat here every other week when I don't want to cook. The food is so fresh, healthy and tastes great. It is fast but doesn't taste like fast food. For dining in it seems more of a family/kids place. The chicken is juicy and not salty like some places. The carrots are the best, a little crunch and a slight sweetness.

I wish it wasn't true but it is!
DESCRIPTION: CHICKEN! CHICKEN! This was the most disapointing meal we had on the whole trip. We actually ate there twice, giving it a second chance for as the first time was really bad. The second time was a lot worse and the manager on duty didn't make things too pleasurable either. We all believed he thought he was trying to make things better, but seemed to forget the main issue and that was that we weren't pleased. It doesn't matter why the chicken was undercooked and side items were cold...just make it right without the excuses and we would have been satisfied. The staff was relatively slow and didn't seem to have good food knowledge but were okay...I actually saw a staff member drop a serving spoon or utensil and then picked it up and continued to serve..I hope the floor was clean. However, one specific employee was very nice and did whatever it took to make us smile which should be a lesson for ownership and management..I wish we remembered her name for she deserves to get promoted to management :) Also the bathrooms were filthy both times. We heard such good things about the chicken and it certainly smelled good when we walked in but the place is cramped, dirty and we all felt rushed as well. It will probably be our loss but we will never visit this establishment again and we own a time share out there! -Jacque Fauteux Boston, MA

DESCRIPTION: I eat here all the time. The food is awsome! Try the chicken ceasar salad. I like it with the herb chicken, but I here the spicy is pretty good too. If you like ceasar salads, this is the place to go!

DESCRIPTION: Local seafood fresh from the ocean, seasoned, and cooked to perfection! The Fishwife at Asilomar is a local and tourist favorite. Located a short walk up the beach from Spanish Bay and Asilomar Beach, this is a not-to-be-missed dining experience for any seafood lover. D cor: Friendly and casual . In other words, don t bother getting dressed up for dinner. The attraction here is the food rather than the ambience. It can be a little crowded, and you ll know what your neighbor is having for dinner. But it s a small thing that will be overlooked once your food arrives. Service: Adequate, but not exceptional. Food and Drink: Unbeatable salmon. You ll be hard-pressed to find anything here that is less than superb. Definitely some of the best chefs in the nation. Spectacular homemade desserts. Selection of non-fish items is limited. Children s menus available at reduced prices. Choices of daily specials from what the catch of the day (and it s today s catch!) is. Awards: The readers of both The Weekly and Adventures in Dining consistently rank The Fishwife as having the best seafood on the Monterey Peninsula. A must while in Monterrey, California.
DESCRIPTION: This is one of those Restaurants where the food is so good, we don't even mind driving to it, all the way from San Ramon East Bay. Seafood is fresh as can be and you could not put a price on the greeting at the door by a sweet lady, who Welcomes you with open arms, even our little ones felt confortable while there. So if any of you are in the area and you've got fish on your mind, a visit for Lunch or Dinner is a must, keep up the Good Cooking guys!
