DESCRIPTION: I have dined at Copeland's approximately 8 times in the last two years. The ambiance and service has been outstanding. The meals have been exquisite both in quantity of food, preparation, and in presntation. Copeland's has raapidly become my first choice for Cajun cuisine and especially "All-American" Desserts. The homemade ice-cream is delicious.

New Orleans House is alright
DESCRIPTION: It doesn't matter how 'high class' you pretend to be or how much you charge, a buffet still attracts the whales. The food here is good, but the atmosphere is pretentious. And the 'no cell phone' rule is a farce. I would recommend the place to friends and family, though. The New Orleans chicken is outstanding, as well as the fried Mahi Mahi. Just try not to look around too much and stick to business.

Wait not bad, food okay.
DESCRIPTION: Although people often mention their long wait, they separate seating not only into smoking and non-smoking, but also into drinking and non-drinking, and if you want to be seated in the non-smoking, non-drinking section, your wait will be a lot shorter than otherwise. (Something like 5-10 minutes.) The food was just okay, however, although free refills on salsa and chips made it a filling meal.

DESCRIPTION: Food: Ox Tails were cooked just right - not tough and almost falling off the bone. The flavor was perfect with the gravy and over a bed of rice. The greens were tasty, fresh and not soggy. The yams were in a liquid and too mushy for my taste. I will be back to check out all the other great meals listed on the menu.

DESCRIPTION: I ordered the Smothered Pork Chops with two sides Collared Greens and, Macaroni & cheese, which were fantastic but, I found the Pork chops to be terribly tough and, I asked for a steak knife, which they didn't carry I guess they didn't anticipate anyone having problems with cutting their Pork Chops. Overall the atomsphere was was pleasant the desserts (Sweet Potatoe Pie and, Peach cobbler) were AWSOME!!

Just like I remember
DESCRIPTION: I really missed Yat's. When I heard the former manager of Yat's was opening this place, I made a pilgrimage to it. I went on a hospital day pass when I was recovering from surgery. It did me good. The menu changes all the time, but the staff will take down your number can call you when your favorite sauce is back on the menu. But you better hurry up, because they can dissapear fast! The one on South Broad is almost indistinguishable from the old Yat's.

Great place for ribs
DESCRIPTION: This is a great place the grab a bite to eat - great wings and ribs. Nice atmosphere, near the theater.
