The Garlic Clove is a GEM!
DESCRIPTION: Tucked away in the small town of Warren, NH...pop. 900 or so...sits a restaurant for the locals to enjoy and for the lucky passerby who sees it. They just cut some trees down across the street...better visibilty for driving/merging and for for the owner of The Garlic Clove (Chuck Eddy). Excellent service, great American fare, rustic/comfy atmosphere. Go and enjoy!

DESCRIPTION: Dined at Al's Oasis this evening with my daughter and two words come to mind in writing a review: TOURIST TRAP. The prices are outrageous! Who in the world charges $8 for a hamburger? The 8 oz sirloin steak I had with just a baked potato was $20 and it was absolutely awful. The service was poor, the lady at the register argumentative and rude when I complained, and the overall atmosphere was abominable. Seating is at "bench tables" like in the Army, so there is no privacy when dining. Like eating at a dude ranch or a crappy summer camp straight out of "Leave It to Beaver".

DESCRIPTION: The Nook definitely has all of the right elements to make your visit a pleasant and satisfying stay. The new owners Ted Casper and Mike Runyon have made The Nook a landmark in the neighborhood for food and drinks. First let's start with the food. If you like the taste of fresh hamburgers, you are in for a treat. With all the different choices of specialty hamburgers, it definitely is considered one of the Nook s favorites. They still use the same ingredients and seasonings that have always made the Nook Burgers so appetizing and so popular. Now let's talk about the drinks. The Nook now serves strong beer and wine. Their drink selection has grown immensely since they remodeled the bar area. Also don t forget to sign up for the mug club and receive discounted tap beer. Last but not least let's talk about the atmosphere. Once you walk through the door you will feel like you are right at home with the comfortable setting. The entire staff plays a big part on how The Nook is so successful. I can guarantee you will become a regular once you give this neighborhood bar and grill a try. Don t be shy, come on in.

Clean, Wide selection of Beer and Alcohol
DESCRIPTION: While the outside appearance is a typical Hagerstown bar, you will be pleasantly suppressed at the inside of the establishment! With 10 draught beer selections, over 80 bottled beers, and countless bottles of liquor. Merlin s has a great selection of alcoholic products to meet any taste! The food was very tasty, and modestly priced. I had their double cheese burger lunch special for $3.50, and let me tell you they really surprised me with a huge burger. This thing was 2/3 lb sirloin ground beef! It was very juicy and tasty! They must also be known for their wings, as I saw several people order them, looking at the menu I saw that they had 10 different flavors of wings! I will definitely have to come back to try them. Their menu prices were way undervalued for the quality of their food from what I could see. They have a Dace floor, free music, a billiards table, NTN Trivia network, and Darts. The bathrooms were very clean, and the staff and patron were friendly. I definitely think I found my favorite new hangout!
