Overpriced
DESCRIPTION: I dont think the burgers are worth ten bucks, but the place is so dang crowded I could be wrong about that. It's hard to find a seat, and when you do, you better check it or you'll be wearing the last guys' kid's sandwich remnants on your pants. Too hectic and too expensive.

A real piece of Americana
DESCRIPTION: This restaurant had been recommended to us but until now we have not had the time to go. Today we made certain to end up in the Mall just so we could eat there. It was well worth the effort. This place is set up just like a diner/malt shop from the 50's era from the formica counter tops to the high chrome trim and nickle jukeboxes. The food tastes good and is reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and the restaurant clean. A combination which is hard to beat no matter where you go. The sound level was a bit high for my tastes but it obviously didn't seem to bother the crowd waiting to get tables

DESCRIPTION: The prices are great for the quality food they give to you. The food is absolutely wonderful, and very tasty. The service itself is great, and they dance, sing, and keep coming back whenever you need anything.

Acceptable cheap burger at theme restaurant
DESCRIPTION: This is a California chain that serves cheap burgers in a 50's style diner setting. Nothing special, but the price is right and the atmosphere is cute (once anyway).

Clean, Wide selection of Beer and Alcohol
DESCRIPTION: While the outside appearance is a typical Hagerstown bar, you will be pleasantly suppressed at the inside of the establishment! With 10 draught beer selections, over 80 bottled beers, and countless bottles of liquor. Merlin s has a great selection of alcoholic products to meet any taste! The food was very tasty, and modestly priced. I had their double cheese burger lunch special for $3.50, and let me tell you they really surprised me with a huge burger. This thing was 2/3 lb sirloin ground beef! It was very juicy and tasty! They must also be known for their wings, as I saw several people order them, looking at the menu I saw that they had 10 different flavors of wings! I will definitely have to come back to try them. Their menu prices were way undervalued for the quality of their food from what I could see. They have a Dace floor, free music, a billiards table, NTN Trivia network, and Darts. The bathrooms were very clean, and the staff and patron were friendly. I definitely think I found my favorite new hangout!

A most enjoyable evening.
DESCRIPTION: We have visited this restaurant several times and have been pleased with everything we have chosen. We enjoy eating here because of the great food served in a warm friendly atmosphere by smiling, upbeat staff. On this visit, we had the Jack Daniel's Chicken and the Fish and Chips. Both dishes tasted, looked, and smelled great. All the food arrived hot from the kitchen and the vegetables were so crisp they crunched. The portions were big enough we needed a take-away container. Our waiter was helpful and conscientious. He answered all our questions promptly and courteously. We never had any trouble attracting our waiter's attention and he was prompt with our beverage refills. We had a very relaxing time and did not feel rushed at any time. The restaurant was clean and decorated in dark wood tones. The music where we sat was a bit loud, but we could have asked to be moved to a quieter location if it had been a real problem. I feel we got a good deal of enjoyment for the price and would you recommend it to a friend anytime. I have seen at other times diners celebrating special occasions, birthday parties, romantic dinners, anniversary parties,etc. It is a good place to go with a group. I am not connected to the restaurant in any way except as a satisfied customer.
