DESCRIPTION: The food can be made at home for a lot less, but as a long time cook I can tell you it's not easy to make it as well! The service is as quick as it can be given the sheer volume of customers, so try during off hours. I highly recomend their kid's menu - even for adults! The size of the servings will ensure that you don't over eat.. And given the quality of the food, overeating is a real danger. Don't even think about dieting while there.

Great Food, Comfortable Ambience
DESCRIPTION: This is a nice Mom and Pop establishment, located in the village of Williamsville, a quaint little town outside of Buffalo, NY. The place is usually packed on Saturday and Sunday mornings, but the wait is certainly worth it- gigantic omeletes, delectable crepes. And don't forget the Pancake House specialities- the Apple Pancake and the Dutch Baby... certainly worth the extra time it takes to make, which the waitresses are wonderful to warn you about. Altogether, a great place to eat!

DESCRIPTION: While the food is acceptable, it is not worth the inappropriate, disrespectful, immature behavior that you will be subject to if you are a Business Person and "dare" to stay at a table for longer than the Waitress or Owner deem appropriate. If they decide you have stayed too long, without warning, you will be subject to such rude, unprofessional, disrespectful behavior from the owner of this mediocre restaurant that you will wonder how the Restaurant stays in business. If there is a time limit for tables (even in off hours) or if there is a policy that you must tip greater than 30% or be subject to unprofessional insults from the owner, it should be clearly stated.

Outraged!
DESCRIPTION: My wife and my twin 2 year old daughters were actually told by the owner that he did not want their business anymore! Why you ask? Because they did what two year olds do. They dropped some of their food on the floor and table. Is this not what little ones do? Is a pancake house not a family restuarant???

Frustrated!
DESCRIPTION: My friend and I were taken aback by the rudeness of the waitress when we were asked to leave the restaurant. I was not yet finished with my 2nd cup of coffee when they said others were waiting for our seats. We asked for the owner's name and we spoke to him, he was rude and did not apologize. The bill was expensive for breakfast foods. We contacted the better business bureau but nothing was done. From what I see this is a not uncommon for this place. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter. It is in a great location and people will patronize it. Not fair!!

Friendly Place

Excellent Music
DESCRIPTION: Excellent acoustic Irish music two weekends running. No cover but they pass the basket for the players. I didn't try the food, but the beer was definitely beer. I went for the music.

Good time, good food, real Irish.
DESCRIPTION: Nice little "real Irish" place. Not like the many pubs in North Jersey and the Bronx where the only Irish thing about it is the name over the door. Music is great, Joe McKenna especially. I'll be "bocht" :>) to see Joe play again. Also, there's an amazing collection of signs and posters that must have taken years to bring over from Ireland.

Cozy, Friendly, Fun
DESCRIPTION: The Guinness is good as it gets, the music is downhome and fun, and they have a women's dart league! The Sheperd's Pie comes with a salad and is fabulous.

miss it everday
DESCRIPTION: I miss the place every day since I moved from the 'hood. A great place. Very importantly: no TV's. Best Guiness, music and conversation. Open late and a great place to stop in for a drink or with a date. Sit at the bar and get quickly engaged in great converstation with a varied crowd. A lost art. The service is generally short, but don't take it the wrong way. They'll quickly warm up to you after sizing you up.
