My favorite
DESCRIPTION: I don't consider myself to be a barbeque connoisseur, but Camp Curtin Bar-B-Que Station is the place that got me excited about barbeque. Since my first visit there, I have tried other barbeque houses in various locations up and down the Eastern USA and I must say, CCBS is still my favorite. Some might call this a barbeque "joint." It's in an old converted fire house - even has a fireman's pole which comes into the center of one of the tables in the corner of the dining area. This isn't one of those sterile looking chain restaurants. It has a rather rustic feel to it, almost like a diner. The staff is friendly, service fast and the surroundings are really "down to earth." I have been to CCBS many times with family and friends and never felt rushed. As a matter of fact, I have never had to wait to be seated as I have never seen the place crowded (certainly not a reflection on the food or service based on my experiences there). Everyone I have taken to CCBS has really enjoyed the food. Sometimes they run out of items, but with a very extensive menu of barbeque items there is always something else that will satisfy the pallet. My favorite side dish is the greens; the best I have eaten at any restaurant. My only complaint (doesn't there have to be one?), is the tables don't always feel clean. They do wash them, but there has been a somewhat sticky residue on them each time I have visited. Even so, I continue to recommend the Camp Curtin Barbeque Station to everyone.

Best BBQ I've had
DESCRIPTION: I have to say that though I've only been here two (2) times, I LOVE this place. Their food is the best bbq I've had. The first time I had the chicken dinner and they slather the sauce on and the sides I got were the baked beans and the cole slaw, and this last time I had the chicken bbq sandwich with the same sides. I really like the combination mix of their mild and hot sauces. It gives it a kick but it's still managable if you can't handle really hot sauces.

Excellent Steaks...
DESCRIPTION: Nice place. There are five televisions over the bar tuned to various sporting events, but the sound is turned off. The cheesesteaks are excellent. They also have good chicken fingers and waffle fries. The servings are huge.

Good Beer Selection/Family Friendly
DESCRIPTION: Great local pub to unwind after work. I took the family there and all were pleased. Spicy dishes are indeed SPICY! which we liked. The beers are tap were great and capable of putting the fire out. We encountered disorganized service when we attended on Friday evenings.

Great Place
DESCRIPTION: Great spot for a light dinner or lunch. Good quality and selection of food and beer. Wish they'd add nachos to the menu though!

Great Local Watering Hole
DESCRIPTION: The place is great. There isn't any other way to put it; the staff is friendly and overall willing to please. The food is always the best and the specials are able to challenge any top restaurant on quality. I am more than happy to say that I can consider the employees family, more than just friends but I would say they are sorta like family.

Great Local Joint!
DESCRIPTION: When we moved to the area Fatty's was one of the first places we tried. We visit regularly and get take out when in a pinch. The service at the bar is great. Great draft selection and bar food is above par. Great mix of people.
