Get the ribs!
DESCRIPTION: The restaurant is attached to a service station and has a nice, small-town feel. Ken employs most of the town I'd guess and the restaurant is only open Thursday and Friday nights and Saturdays (early afternoons I think...) Arrive early unless you want to wait in a very long line. Expect to pay $15-20 per person for a full meal. You start with the salad bar which good, but not outstanding. Of course, cutting your own cheese from the block is interesting and different. After the salad, everyone gets a rib "on the house" to see if that's what you want (other options include chicken and steak.) I took the ribs (the smaller size - 4 or 5 ribs) and a baked potato. I was not disappointed. I consider the quality of ribs to be nearly equal to Rendezvous in Memphis. Furthermore, these guys cut the ribs the right way: cut along the bone, not in between. Amber, OK is a 2.5 hour drive from here and I'll be going back soon.

Only vegetarians will be leave hungry. What ambiance?
DESCRIPTION: Superb beef, ribs and chicken. Beats anything we've eaten in and out of Oklahoma (yes, Texas & California included) --at the price range of 12 to 15 dollars. True, selection is limited: Steaks, ribs, chicken, brisket and prime rib. Included in price is small salad bar, side of one potato or another. Included table appetizer is small rib order and some bread. (Makes you wonder if you shouldn't change your order to ribs!) Prime rib and sirloin steaks are fantastic. Everything is gently smoked, no overbearing "sauces" on foods, no "formed" beef of any sort here. Very clean restaurant area, very simple decor, nothing fancy (by ANY means!!) Just great food at a low price. Drinks are also simple: No alcohol, pop or iced tea. Service is great: Just don't expect white linened waiters and a maitre'd.

Ken's is Great!
DESCRIPTION: Ken's is a down home country eatery. Limited menu allows for excellent food. The ribs are some of the best I've ever had and my wife really enjoys the prime rib. The salad bar is small but very good and it has big pots of fried okra and pinto beans at the end of it to go with your meal.

Billy Ray's ROCKS!!
DESCRIPTION: After living on the west side for 15 years I moved to Chi-town. All I need to say about Billy Ray's is that I make the 10 hour drive at least once a year just to eat @ Billy Ray's and pick up some of their BBQ sauce. The food is great and the people there are the friendliest.

What I know.
DESCRIPTION: This is a great restaurant to eat at. You get so much food on your plate, that when you get done eating, you practically have to be carried out of the restaurant because you are so full. And the service is great, they are very nice and pleasant to you, they act like your their next door neighbor. It is a great place to take your family to. If you have a big party coming up, they will cater it, they have big steam bars they bring if it is a lot of people. I've heard they catered OG&E before. Like I said this is a great place to eat at. By the way, please tip the waiters.
