DESCRIPTION: The Rainbow Ranch is not what you would expect in a Monatana ski town. Great food, service, atmosphere and a wine list that compares with anything I've seen outside of New York.

DESCRIPTION: Truely one of a kind! Upon entering I was warmly greeted by the proprietor Patrick Hurd and his friendly staff. Before dinner we sipped our stoli doli's by the river rock fireplace. From the Sweet Butter-Poached Bay Scallops to the Molton Chocolate Cake everything was phenominal! The Rainbow Ranch is a special place for family gatherings as well! The Rainbow Ranch made my family reunion a memorable experience.

Impeccable dining and service
DESCRIPTION: From the moment you enter the Rainbow, its staff do an incredible job of making your night special. Whether one is in the mood for fresh flown in seafood, beef, wild game or a variety of vegetarian options, Chef Tom Donohue prepares and presents dishes that suit everyones' palate. The wine list compares to some of the most extensive in the U.S. and the wine cellar, which is simply magnificent, seats up to fourteen people for dinner.

Diamond in the rough
DESCRIPTION: We recently visitied Big Sky, Montana and although the west may be wild, we discovered a fabulous diamond in the rough - The Rainbow Ranch Lodge and Restaurant. The food, wine and service were incredible. The menu was on par with restaurants in big cities across the globe and the wine list was extensive to say the least with 600 plus selections. The overall atmosphere was wonderfully rustic yet elegant and cozy with antler chandeliers, beautiful wood floors and a riverrock fireplace in the lounge. I would recommend it to anyone travelling to Montana!
