GREAT Food!
DESCRIPTION: Fantastic food. Great burgers, great pullled pork sandwiches and the stuffed pork loin is FANTASTIC. This is the best barbecue I have tasted in Waltham. Their North Carolina Barbecue sauce beats the heck out of Jake and Earl's.

DESCRIPTION: Took my mother here today for lunch. Both of us had the baked haddock. Huge portion and so fresh. Mom had the clam chowder which she said was very, very delicious. Service was terrific. Always filling coffee cup. Brought homemade rolls to table. Will definitely return. Very clean inside. Cozy and warm atmosphere.

Great Bar-B-Q
DESCRIPTION: This is good Bar-B-Q. Real southern, real big portions, real traditional, real good. A fun place for a night out; lively, boiseterous, always hard to get a table. Don't sit downstairs, it is dank and windowless.

Great Food
DESCRIPTION: Nothing like a big plate of barbeque and an incredible selection of micro-brewed, cask conditioned beers to go with it. The atmosphere is casual, kind of loud (especially during baseball playoffs), but it doesn't take away from the meal itself. That and they play some of the best music-lots of blues and indy stuff-anywhere in the Boston area.

DESCRIPTION: Keeps getting better and better. Huge menu of BBQ, complete with all the authentic sides of the south. Memphis ribs...just love 'em! Hot sauce is great. Cool atmosphere, funky and fun.

I Left My Heart at Redbones...
DESCRIPTION: The rest of me moved to California over ten years ago. I always go back whenever I am in town; I still know some of the staff after all these years. Get the pulled pork sandwich with vinegar sauce - brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it. Sit at the kitchen counter if it's open.

Great Casual Place
DESCRIPTION: This place is great! No need to wear fancy clothing because you wouldn't want to spill any of their barbecue SAUCES on nice clothes! They offer different types of BBQ sauce for all the degrees of spice/sweet/smoked flavor. The atmosphere is great, and so is the food! The pulled pork sandwich is excellent. Not a lot of convienient parking offered, but otherwise this is a terrific one-of-a-kind place.

Great BBQ
DESCRIPTION: Tennessee's is indeed great casual dining, as Kate says - although it's somewhat pricier than going out to a sub shop. The food more than makes up for the price difference, though. When I worked in the area, my co-workers and I would go there about once a week. The only thing that stops me from going to Tennessee's more often now is that I don't work near there anymore, and I live 25 miles away. (I still manage to get there once a month, though. :-) The ribs are just plain great. I have something of a sweet tooth so I prefer the "Strawhouse" BBQ sauce, but they have two others to choose from - and they sell the stuff by the bottle as well. My personal favorite food there is the pulled pork sandwich. I grew up in the South where this was a staple menu item of any diner, cafeteria, etc., and Tennessee's has one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I have ever eaten. The corn bread is also superior. For other sides, the sweet potato is very good, but neither my wife nor I really like their "Smashed potatoes", which have some seasoning (garlic, etc.) in them. I find it a bit too seasoned. The corn on the cob is also generally disappointing, being somewhat overdone. My wife loves the cucumber salad. The counter staff (they do not have waiters) has always been friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bathrooms are also generally clean. The parking is free and plentiful, as the restaurant is located in a strip mall. At worst you will have to walk the length of a football field from your car to the door. At best you can park right in front of the door.
