DESCRIPTION: I wasn't really impressed. This is just your average-looking place to eat. I was disappointed with the food that I had ordered. The shrimp didn't even look cooked. I think I just came in at the wrong time. They told me that they just changed owners and wasn't even able to serve alcohol because they didn't have their liquor license yet.

Dirty & Stale
DESCRIPTION: At my mother's request I took her to Bennigans for her birthday. The place looked dirty -- there was dust on the glass and ledge separating our table. After a long wait the meal arrived -- broccoli with rust marks, ok -- the shrimp was good, but the rice had a chemical taste and was only lukewarm. Dessert -- the cheesecake had been here since VietNam -- it was dry, tasteless -- stale and served with a spoon -- on a dirty, smudged soup dish! My brownie was undercooked -- literally half baked, also served with a spoon on a dirty, greasy soup dish. Something floated in my mother's coffee. I drove 1 & 1/2 hours to visit and took my mother to this horrible meal -- they have really went down. To get the check we had to send up signal flares -- no wonder it wasn't that busy -- even at 1pm. Bennigans really has went down -- like the Titanic.
