DESCRIPTION: Been there several times, when the owner is overseeing operations it is great; when he wasn't the service was spotty. Long delay in drink order and delivery. The oysters were served spoiled. I feel had the owner been there he would not have served the rotten oysters.

DESCRIPTION: We visited the Smokey Bones near us for my daughter's birthday. We waited approximately 2 hours-which we expected. We were seated there was 10 of us in our party. The waiters were there very soon after we were seated. They seemed to be very helpful. I won't return to the resturant because it was so noisey that we couldn't talk to each other-I know this is a sports bar and this is the atmosphere. The coffee we ordered was lukewarm. We told the waitress and she brought more which was some warmer. My decaf was almost cold. The food was just slightly warm not hot as though it had been prepared ahead of time and slapped on our plates. My husband found a label in his mashed potatoes-"use by Sunday"? We told the waitress and she apologized and asked if we wanted to see the manager? Why would we want the manager to tell us there was a label in the mashed potatoes? We could see that and it was not a crisis. We declined and finished our meal. The quality of food was not what I had expected it to be. This review is not about getting free coupons to revisit the site but to let you know in our area you have a ways to go to compete with other restuarants in the area. I would not recommend Smokey Bones to anyone.

Excellant BBQ
DESCRIPTION: I took my family there for my son's birthday and just about everybody got the ribs and LOVED them. They fell right off the bone and the BBQ sauce is wonderful. Like the bag for the bones at the table. The restaurant was full but the service was great.

Pretty Darn Good BBQ, Etc.
DESCRIPTION: We have visited Smokey Bones several times already since moving to Florida 2 months ago. We never had to wait for a table; atmosphere was nice and our servers were all very nice & friendly ! BBQ chicken was especially good; the ribs were good, but I didn't care much for the BBQ pulled pork. Coleslaw was delicious as was the BBQ baked beans! Their burgers were also very tasty. Our drinks were refilled before they were even finished. I would definely recommend this as a place to go to eat.
