Service at Zi Pani Goes Downhill!
DESCRIPTION: I have been eating at Zi Pani since it opened and have, until recently, enjoyed the experience. Lately the staff attitudes and food quality have definitely gone down hill. Speaking with friends, I found that I am not alone in this perception. I tried speaking with the owner, and he did not care to hear my opinion.

I too agree that service has gone downhill
DESCRIPTION: I too have been giving Zi Pani my business every week since it opened. I meet my friends there once a week. I have always enjoyed it until recently. I too tried to speak with the owner and was not heard. Frankly, I was ignored. There were several patrons who asked for the fans to be turned down or off (it's January). We were told that they had to stay on and were drawing the air up. The fans were in fact pushing the cold air down on its customers. Many sat in the restaurant with coats on. The owner did come out finally after a third person demanded to speak with the owner after the manager would take no action. The owner was very rude and would not let me complete a sentence. I will not be giving them my business anymore. My mom's group will find a establishment that wants to show care for its custome

You can't be talking about the Zi Pani I Visit!
DESCRIPTION: Zi Pani service is excellent. It's fast, and the people actually remember the type of coffee I order. (So, I always order the same coffee. Nevertheless, it's a nice thing. I'm always wished a good day, and the people who work there are very pleasant. In Eldersburg, they have the very best cappucinno's, and I've tried several other places. One day the owner, who I thought was a new employee, was making my cappuccino. I thought, oh my, I hope he does it as well as the others! Then I found out he was the owner and had trained the others. I love the place! Great egg and cheese bagels, too

I love It's A Bagel Bakery
DESCRIPTION: It's A Bagel is the best bagel shop in the world. For my birthday, I got a blueberry bagel "cake" (slices of blueberry bagels stacked up HIGH) with cream cheese frosting. And the owners... they're awesome! Beata (B the Bagel Babe) and Januch (sp?) are totally cool. They're full of energy, and they work really hard. Plus, they're really healthy. You can get a bikini bagel if you're watching your carbs, because it's a bagel with the insides cut out... it tastes really good. It still has the meat and everything. The wraps are also really good. I like the red one, but it's kind of spicy. So, go check it out! I swear you won't be disappointed.

It doesn't get better than this!!!
DESCRIPTION: WOW!!! The food is incredible! It looks as good as it tastes. One of the best values in dining anywhere. The atmosphere is great and the owners make you feel welcome and invited. Their catering selection is the best! It meets the need for the highest quality presentation and taste on a low budget. It's a Bagel has it all! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

It's a Bagel is like going to a friends place to eat
DESCRIPTION: Not only are all the bagels, wraps, salads and desserts terrific, but B and Janusz have created a wonderful atmosphere for their customers. They and their staff treat the customers with warmth and respect. When I go to It's A Bagel for lunch I know I am eating healthier, and I feel like I am visiting friends. Thank you so much for being there for us.

Winner of our office Bagel-off!
DESCRIPTION: Research Travel, Inc. had a taste test between the bagels at It's a Bagel and an un-named excellent bagelry in Germantown. We tested Honey Wheat, Sesame, Plain, Salt, Pumpernickel, and Everything bagels. The overall concensus was that the bagels from IT'S A BAGEL were far superior. The crunchy-ness of the crust and the chewy-ness of the inside were the closest to a "REAL" New York bagel. We also found that the bagels were completely baked unlike some of the bagels (Honey Wheat) from the "Other" bagelry which were underbaked and doughy. The salt bagels were properly salted, unlike the bagels from the "other" bagelry which were highly over salted. I do have three suggestions, and they are: 1- Have the Bagels certified Kosher so a larger audience of bagel lovers can appreciate the best in the area. 2- Offer Toffuti "Better than cream cheese" (Soy product) so Vegan's can also appreciate and enhance their tastebuds. 3- Offer Soy "milk" substitutes in your coffee drinks to compete evenly with Starbucks and Seattles Best.
