My Experience at Outback Steakhouse
DESCRIPTION: Outback Steakhouse is one of my favorite places to eat because the food is great and the service is usually wonderful. Almost every time I go here they keep my drink full. I have never had a waiter or waitress that let me run out of my drink. I think keeping drinks full says a lot about the service. In terms of atmosphere I would say that Outback Steakhouse is not the most luxurious place to eat, however the restaurant is always clean and has friendly family environment. I would honestly recommend this restaurant.

Perfect Meat
DESCRIPTION: We have been many times here and the meat was always just perfect. If you like a really rare filet you may have to order "less than rare" but then it is a dream. Don't forget a onion blossom as a starter, it's delicious and huge.

The usual steakhouse
DESCRIPTION: Since it's a chain, most people probably know what to expect. Parking can be a problem during peak periods. The wait can be up to an hour with really no place to sit, since the bar is usually crowded. They give you short range pagers that allow you to move around somewhat. Since the bar is located in the middle of the facility, and is open, the place can get very noisy. Everybody is friendly.

Chain, Chain, Chain
DESCRIPTION: What do people see in this place? The steaks we've had were all tough and not flavorable even though it was obvious they had been tenderized. There's MUCH better to be had.

The food was great, but that is where it ended...
DESCRIPTION: b/c once we were done went towards the front door a smell was noticed! All the way out the door and into the parking lot, well it was the first time any of us had been there and that is when we saw where it was coming from...the sewer cap in the middle of the parking lot, just then someone who had been there many times before drove in and parked. He told us that that at that time of day, late afternoon/early evening, the drains in the kitchen overflow and this is what happens. Needless, to we have never gone back again and doubt we ever will!!!

DESCRIPTION: I can pretend to be Australian for a couple of hours while sipping a cuppa and enjoying my brekkie. This place has quickly become a favorite for my family.

DESCRIPTION: Went to this little hotspot for the first time the other day and was thoroughly impressed. My neighbors have been raving about it and rightly so, they have a cute little place and a very solid menu. Best latte I've had.

Slow Service for Mediocre Food
DESCRIPTION: Unappealing atmosphere (small and dark with cracked vinyl seating) greets you when you walk in the door. Has the feel of a take-out place that got too big for its britches. Food was VERY slow to come out (don't ever order the calzone!) and then was mediocre quality at best. Try Laki's Greek Restaurant or Lorito's Pizza instead for a smaller restaurant feel with good food and service.

Solid Performance
DESCRIPTION: Clean, thick, solid wood benches and tables. This is not quite an upper-class restaurant, but the cuisine and service are well-executed and some dishes are unexpectedly refined. High separators provide some privacy.

A Disappointment
DESCRIPTION: We really expected a better dining experience than we found here. It wasn't that busy, but we weren't the only ones who were unhappy with their dinner. My fiance ordered a marguerita... it was SO frozen it was undrinkable. It didn't melt enough to get anything out of the glass until were almost ready to leave! Then we ordered a bloomin' onion. It was overdone. He ordered the "Outback Style" 12 oz. prime rib. He was lucky if there were 4 oz. of edible, not-fat content. The "aussie spices" were overpowering. Then, to top off the dining experience he ordered coffee and raspberry cheesecake. He got tepid coffee and chocolate cheesecake. The waitress did make the effort to correct the order immediately, but... On the plus side, I had trout and it was very good. I also had the "Wallaby Darned" frozen peach drink... it was also really good. We chose to just pay the bill and go, but we heard the family at the next table being very vocal in their displeasure and the manager was called to appease them. Didn't look real good for the Outback. We don't plan to go back.

Used to be good, but, now it's poor.
DESCRIPTION: In the past, the Outback Steakhouse in Vancouver had been my favorite place to order take out for filet mignon. The steaks were tender with delicious special seasoning. Unfortunately, though, the last two times that I have ordered filet mignon to go, the steaks have been woefully undercooked, practically raw. Definitely not the way I had ordered them cooked.

The Best of Times..The Worst of Times!!!
DESCRIPTION: The Worst of times is visiting Outback on Mother's Day!!! Even with "Call ahead seating", we had to wait 35 minutes. But now the Best of times. Our harried surver did an absolutely phenominal job. He was attentive, extremely knowledgable concerning menu items. And made clear recommendations. The steaks were superb, the veggies were steamed, tasty and crisp. The dessert was HUGE!!! For a franchise operation, Outback is a great place to visit. We'll return again

Crikey! Look at the size of those portions mate!
DESCRIPTION: Impossible to leave hungry, Outback offers very generous portions to go with top-notch hospitality. Everything on the menu tastes even better than imagined. Even the french onion soup was a meaty meal in itself! I could barely finish my Drover's Platter (BBQ ribs and chicken) by the time it came. Also, I will ONLY get ribs from here. They are the best - tender and falling off the bone. The waitress then asked, "Got room for desert?". I wanted to laugh but was too full so I simply smiled gracefully as a shook no. Go to Outback and you'll have no worries mate.
