DESCRIPTION: O'Neill's is a great family run food market. Local residents know it's excellent reputation. It's amazing they have been able to survive all these years in spite of the onslaught of supersized grocery stores. The service is personable and a family member is always on hand to assist you with catering choices, etc. They have a varied selection of food items, and their prices are competitive with larger chain stores. The produce is fresh, and they have an excellent and tasy selection of pre-made dishes such as quiches, salads, soups to bring home for family dinners. The catering is one of the best features about O'Neill's. The selections range from party sandwhich platters with feshly prepared side salads, breads and condiments to hot dishes for holiday meals and more formal get togethers. Dessert items and fresh fruit are offered as well, and the prices are more than reasonable. O'Neill's offers the familiarity of the old time neighborhood mom and pop grocery store with all the convenience of modern day food chains. It's a real find in the heart of a local community that definitely is worth investigating. Be sure to check it out for your next party or dinner. You'll be glad you did...

Great Place
DESCRIPTION: Been there a couple of times. I generally have the Flat Iron Steak and my wife the perch or shrimp. - - We always have this chessy crab dip appetizer. Food was great - Service is also very very good. The Cabo Wabo Margaritas is wonderful.

Our little hideaway
DESCRIPTION: We have been going to Castaways since they opened. The food is outstanding particularly the prime rib and the filet mignons. They are always cooked perfectly. The selection of wines and specialty drinks are a nice variety from the everyday cocktails. We have a few servers which are our favorites and have always had great service. We absolutely love Castaways and we tell everyone about it.

DESCRIPTION: A very nice fast-foodish restaurant. Subs cooked up to order in front of your eyes. Must try the chicken philly or the chicken cordon bleu. One of my favorite places to eat in gainesville. The only thing is lack of seating almost makes this a take out only place.

Displeased with Branson Outback
DESCRIPTION: My party had the Aussie Steak (small, thin & dry), potatoes (small serving & appeared to be yesterday's), the prime rib was average (not what I would expect from a 1st class restaurant with 1st class prices), and the baked potato was good. Last, but not least, the server was not attentive and brought the drinks, salad, & dinner ALL at the same time. Is that Aussie sytle?

Branson Outback HORRIBLE!
DESCRIPTION: My family of 5 people visited the outback June 12th 2003. Usually we go there at least twice a year. And we will never go back due to the last dinner. Our waitress did not like to work at all! And the food was horrible. We sent it back and the new food was just as bad. If you're going there for good food and service, I would suggest going some where different.

DESCRIPTION: An overpriced, poorly-decorated, rip-off. The service was absolutely terrible. The food only fair. The atmosphere might be 'Australian' but I suspect more like the brainchild of some corporate-minded hack looking for a way to make money. Please pass this one by. Many, much better places to eat in Branson.

Been to Better
DESCRIPTION: A lot of people think that this Outback is part of the Outback Chain, which it is not. How they managed to use the name is beyond me. Smart lawyers, I guess. Anyway, I have eaten there many times and in each case I have been disappointed (yeah, I know, I never learn). First of all they hire 20-somethings to wait. Big mistake. 20-somethings are more interested in the party and who has a cute booty than serving a good meal. Second of all, the place is too damn busy and noisy, half the time you can't hear what people at the table are saying without them yelling. Last thing I want is a person with a mouth full of food yelling across the table at me. Ick. Their food simply isn't that great (Longhorn Steakhouse is better). Next time I vow to go elsewhere.

the place isnt worth a damn
DESCRIPTION: went there monday night the 12th of sept 2005, got seated right away two of us. the server must not have thought that we were there to eat, she passed up by six times, never offering water or a word. We left and the only thing the hostess would say was im sorry, went to the lone star steakhouse in branson, had a great server and a wonderful meal. we go to branson 3 or 4 times a year and will never go back to the outback steak and oyser bar

Superb
DESCRIPTION: The revival of the former restaurant with the same name and same owners in a new and spectacular location. Terrific cuisine, way above the average at an value price. This is "Gourmet Chinese" at its best. Cozy atmosphere, and superb food preparation/presentation and service. A place to take your "best girl" or maybe the boss. Reasonable but not cheap.

Rear entrance for main (non-smoking) dining room. By far, the best Asian/Chinese dining in Hampton Roads.

Excellent Food, Heavenly Dim Sum
DESCRIPTION: We were delighted to find authentic dim sum here while on vacation. We have eaten dim sum in New York City, Philly, San Francisco and Vancouver and this place is definitely a competitor for places you will find in those cities (and beats many of them for quality and for the number of items). It was so good we came everyday during the week we were here and we left with one large and two small coolers filled with dim sum. DESCRIPTION: It's hard to rate a place based on just one meal but it's got to be more informative than no rating at all. I'd been meaning to check out this place for a while. I was often reluctant because I find that local Armenian restaurants use too much salt for my taste, and heaven knows I didn't need puffy ankles! Glad that I finally got over my fear of salt and ate at Koko's. There was not a soul in the place when I walked in, unfortunately. Diners are missing a good thing. The dinners come with salad, rice pilaf, veggies and pocket (pita) bread. There is more than enough on the plate to fill a hungry eater. The lunch menu is similar but the meals include just salad and rice. The salad is only iceberg lettuce, supermarket tomatoes and cucumber slices, but ahh the house dressing..vinegar and oil with lots and lots of herbs. Basically, I ate the salad as an excuse to enjoy the dressing. I chose the lula kebob which is ground beef with a lot of spices, rolled into a sausage shape and then grilled. Delicious! The rice pilaf was buttery, the grilled vegetables accompanying the meat were nicely done. The only disappointment was the addition of green beans which were either canned or frozen. They weren't bad, mind you, they just didn't add anything to the experience. The owner & cook is Armenian and that comes through in the cooking. He also was very nice and gave me baklava for dessert, at no charge. Yes, I'm going there again. Next time, it'll have to be the lamb shanks....can't wait!

DESCRIPTION: Playbill is a great place to dine before attending a play at the Studio. It also has its own, very small theater in the back. Good food at reasonable prices in a friendly atmosphere.
